Hindustan Shipyard Ltd (HSL), is the nation’s premier shipyard engaged in Shipbuilding, Ship Repairs, Submarine refits has put up its pavilion as part of the Global Investors Summit 2023 at Visakhapatnam, which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of AP, Shri Jagan Mohan Reddy on 03 Mar 2023.

Mr Krishna Babu, Principal Secretary to Government of Andhra Pradesh and industrialists across the globe visited HSL pavilion and appreciated HSL pavilion.

On the first day of Summit, HSL pavilion attracted attention of visitors due to its eye catching design, featured panels, brochures, and other materials to promote its initiatives and achievements in the past few years. Cmde Kunjumon E Mathew, Director (Shipbuilding) has participated in a panel discussions held at summit on 03 Mar 2023. He said that HSL is exploring innovative solutions for diversification and working towards growth strategy in tune with the vision of Defence Sector under Atmanirbhar Bharat. Considering the potential and growth trajectory of shipbuilding and Ship repairs, he also exhorted the industry to invest in the ancillary equipment and skill development programmes required to sustain and attract more shipbuilding programmes for the state of Andhra Pradesh.
